Weekly Ministry at the Lois M DeBerry State Prison

Each week André has the blessing of sharing Christ with both inmates and prison personnel at the DeBerry Special Needs Facility. The ministry that takes place is meaningful and fruitful; many have given their lives to Christ recently.

A Day of Hope at Holiday Heights Baptist Church, April 5

Pray for André as he preaches a Day of Hope on Easter Sunday at Holiday Heights Baptist Church in Hendersonville. Pray that God will prepare the hearts of those in attendance, and that many guests and nonbelievers will come and hear of the hope that is available in Christ Jesus.

Revival at Harvest Fields Baptist Church, April 23

 André is scheduled to preach on Thursday night, April 23, as part of a Revival at Harvest Fields Baptist Church in Pegram, TN. The Revival is April 23-26.

Pray for God to move throughout the entirety of the revival at Harvest Fields, and that God would bring many in to hear the gospel as André delivers God's Word.

A Day of Hope at Indian Lake Peninsula Church, Hendersonville, April 26

This April, André is looking forward to leading the congregation of Indian Lake Peninsula Church (Hendersonville, TN) through another powerful Day of Hope. Pray for ILPBC, their leaders, and members as they look forward to this Day of Hope. Pray for André as he prepares as well!

Preaching at Temple Baptist Church, Old Hickory, TN, May 3

André is looking forward to filling in the pulpit at Temple Baptist Church for Bro. Ken Coleman in his absence. Pray for God to move at Temple, and pray for André as he prepares to deliver God's Word.

Keynote Speaker at the Harvest Baptist Association Deacons' Conference, May 3

The Harvest Baptist Association "Brothers Who Serve Together" Deacons' Conference at North Springfield Baptist Church will offer a great platform to strengthen the foundational partnership between church leadership and the pulpit. André will address the Biblical role deacons play in supporting their pastors to ensure a healthy, thriving ministry. We will explore practical ways for deacons to serve as unified pillars of strength. Pray that God will use this opportunity to reignite a spirit of brotherhood that honors God and fortifies the local church for the Great Commission

FBC Joelton - JOY Fellowship luncheon, May 12 

André was asked to speak at the JOY fellowship luncheon at FBC Joelton. Pray for him as he prepares to do so.

A Weekend of Hope & Prayer at FBC Lewisburg, TN, May 29-31

This May, André is excited to join FBC Lewisburg and lead the congregation on a weekend of revival focused on the Hope offered in Christ, and how that should spark an intense life of prayer. Pray for FBC, their leaders, and members as they look forward to this Weekend of Hope and Prayer. Pray for André as he prepares as well!

Attending the SBC and SBC Pastors' Conference, June 2026

André is excited to attend the SBC and the Pastors' conference for the first time in 14 years this Summer. Pray for André and Sarah as they travel to Orlando in three specific ways:

1. Pray for safety and that their trip would be a blessing to them and the Ministry.
2. Pray for new relationships and ministry partnerships to be formed.
3. Pray for old friendships and partnerships to be re-engaged.

We are thankful that God has brought enough healing to André that he can make this trip!

A Night of Hope at Deberry State Prison, July 11

As you know, André ministers at Deberry Prison each week. He has now been asked to lead a special night of worship - a Night of Hope - at the prison on July 11. He has built strong relationships with many inmates and has seen many come to Christ. Pray that on July 11, a revival would break out and many more would surrender their lives to Jesus Christ as Lord.

Preaching at First Baptist Church of Alba, TX, October 11, 2026

André has a wonderful opportunity in October of this year to preach at a church that he pastored at for many years in the 1990's. He will be heading out to Alba, TX, to preach at FBC Alba. André and his family share many fond memories from their time in Alba, and maintain many strong friendships in that community and church. Pray for André and FBC as he returns to preach that Sunday!

A Day of Hope at Grace Baptist Church, Tullahoma, Mar. 15

March 15, André was elated to join Grace Baptist in Tullahoma and lead them through a Day of Hope! God moved mightily in both services, and many responded to His Word.

Preaching at Agape Church, Greenbrier TN, March 1

The Lord moved wonderfully in both morning services. It was exciting to see people responding to God’s conviction. André was thankful for the opportunity to fill in for Pastor Tim Dalton who was sick.

A Day of Hope at New Hope Baptist Church, Bon Aqua Feb. 22

André led the Day of Hope at New Hope Baptist Church in Bon Aqua, TN on Feb. 22, and it was an incredible day as the Lord blessed powerfully in both services. It was a blessing to be with pastor Nathan Wilkerson and the wonderful people of New Hope.

A Day of Hope at Holiday Heights Baptist Church, Jan. 25

Due to the severe snow and ice across Middle TN, André was asked to move the Day of Hope to February 1st. Since he isn't able to be with this church family in person, he recorded a sermon for the church. Pray that this message is seen by many, and that God uses it to His glory!

André and Sarah loved being back with the Holiday Heights family this week. Between a stirring message on preparing for revival and the joy of welcoming a new member to their church family, it’s clear that God is moving among them!

André was honored to have been requested to preach at his home church, FBC Joelton on December 28th. Thank you for praying that God would speak trough him as he preached the Word.

André had the opportunity to preach at Agape church in Greenbrier on December 28th before he headed over to preach at FBC Joelton. This was a busy Sunday, so thank you for praying for André to have the energy and fervor needed to preach the Gospel faithfully at both houses of worship!

André was honored to share the good news of Jesus to a business group, The Mt. Juliet Referral Group, as he encouraged them to live life focused on their character rather than simply their reputation as he shared from Matthew 23:27-28

Preaching at FBC Lewisburg, Dec. 7

André was blessed to share the gospel at First Baptist Church of Lewisburg, TN as he preached a message on the hope found in Christ from Ephesians 1:3-14. God's people were both encouraged and challenged.

Leading a Bible Study at FBC Joelton, Nov. 30

André was thrilled to teach a Bible Study at FBC Joelton from the Gospel according to Luke to an adult class. The encouraging study reminded everyone of the need to share Christ with those we encounter.

Preaching at Agape Church, Nov. 16

André had the privilege to preach at Agape Church in Greenbrier, TN. God moved in a powerful way as believers were encouraged and taught how to share their faith with others through a message from Luke 19:1-10.

We are thankful that God provided an opportunity for André to preach in Hendersonville, TN, Sunday, October 19, 2025. The Holy Spirit moved in a wonderful way.

Connecting with a Ministry Partner, Oct. 19

André was overjoyed to reconnect with Robby Gray, whom he led to the Lord and baptized in 2001. Robby now lives in Thailand where he and his wife are actively sharing the hope of Jesus with all those around them. The key is to make disciples who make disciples.

We are thankful for the opportunity André had to preach part of the ordination service for a United States Army Sergeant Chaplain on Sunday, September 7 as well.

Ten Saved from Greenbrier High School, Aug. 28

André was blessed with the opportunity to preach to members of the Greenbrier High School Football Team on Thursday, August 28. His message was from Matthew 23:27-28 entitled: "It's What's Inside That Counts." By God's Grace, ten young men received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior."

André wasn't expecting to preach at FBC Lewisburg on July, 13, but by God's grace that is exactly what he did! God opened the door and André preached a moving message from Joshua 4:1-5:1 entitled: "Don't Forget to Remember."
